Best Projects and Solutions Awarded CNews 'Innovation of the Year 2023' and 'Import Substitution of the Year 2023' Prizes
On June 20, 2023, CNews hosted the annual CNews FORUM Cases. During the event, awards were presented for 'Innovation of the Year' and 'Import Substitution of the Year'. The 'Innovation of the Year' award was given to the most innovation-oriented representatives of Russian business and government structures — customers and end-users of advanced technologies, as well as their developers and suppliers.
The 'Ecosystem for Digital Transformation: Innovation of the Year' award was received by VTB Bank, which, together with Сinimex, completed the transition of its own open API software platform to Russian import-independent software in the summer of 2022.
The platform contains mechanisms for file exchange and storage of API contracts, a well-tuned pipeline for API creation — from the design process 'embedded' in the IT architecture of the bank to a utility billing service, as well as services that allow managing the API lifecycle, correctly and rationally distributing resources.
VTB's API platform is a suite of tools ensuring synchronous and coordinated work of systems and teams within the bank's perimeter, as well as with partners and the bank with its partners.
