Gazprombank and Cinimex joint project won the CNews Awards nomination “Open Interfaces in Banks. Project of the year”

CNews Forum 2019 was held in Moscow on November 7th. CNews Awards 2019 winners were announced at the event. Gazprombank’s project on the Open API implemented jointly with Cinimex won the nomination “Open Interfaces in Banks. Project of the year”.

Cinimex CEO Andrey Sykulev and Vitaly Smyk Gazprombank Architecture Director of the partnership services development office of the Omni-Channel Platform Development Department attended the Awards ceremony.

“It is pleasant that our joint project with Gazprombank on Open Interfaces was highly appreciated and won in the nomination. We are pleased that we have justified the partners trust and successfully implemented the Open API. And I would like to thank the project team that showed decent results in a short time,”commented Andrey Sykulev.

Separate nomination dedicated to Open API in banking sector at CNews Awards once again confirms the promise of this technology. I also join in thanking the entire project team. Cinimex took an active part in the forum as the general sponsor of the event. Cinimex also had a stand in the exhibition area. Event participants attended the stand and were able to learn more about complex IT solutions. Andrey Sykulev, Cinimex CEO, made the presentation on “Artificial Intelligence in Banks: an outsider look” at the “Banks” section which brought together the representatives of the largest Russian banks, foreign financial organizations, as well as suppliers and technologies integrators for financial segment.

Kirill Dubovikov the Cinimex Data Lab technical director also made the presentation on “Why do some Data Science projects never make it into production?”. The experience of the Cinimex Data Lab was presented at the “BI and Big Data” section, which was attended by IT directors and IT specialists from various industries, representatives of IT companies.

Cinimex specialist became one of the AI Journey competition winners

Cinimex data analysis specialist Anna Ilyukovich-Strakovskaya is among the winners of the Artificial Intelligence Journey competition 2019.

As a “Nice” team member, she took 6th position out of 10. More than 350 people from 14 countries took part in the competition.

AI Journey is a series of events dedicated to artificial intelligence and data analysis. Competition goal is to develop algorithm that can successfully solve SATs in Russian language.

The solutions offered by the participants were sent to automatic testing system and evaluated on a hidden set of exams options available only to the organizers. The exam test part was checked for compliance with true marks, and teachers from Moscow and Novosibirsk checked the generated essays.

The award ceremony was held on November 9th as part of Moscow AI Journey conference.

Cinimex is among “The largest IT Providers for Banks 2019” according to CNews Analytics

Cinimex traditionally entered the top 50 largest financial sector IT providers, ranking 24th in 2018. 

According to CNews Analytics the total revenue of IT solution providers for banks included in the rating 2018 amounted $ 192.8 billion, which is 9% more than in 2017.

Cinimex presented its experience at “1C:ERP 2019” Business Forum

On October 11, Cinimex company took part in the 6th “1C:ERP 2019” Business Forum.

The forum, traditionally dedicated to the solutions and services implementation on the 1C platform, gathered the heads of large and medium-sized companies to exchange digitalization experience.

Cinimex stand worked all day of the business event, employees shared the expertise of 1C products implementation and their experience in working with clients, including at the international level.

In addition, Tommi Ekstrand Bang & Bonsomer project manager made the presentation of the successful experience on implementing IFRS requirements and the company’s accounting policy within the SPUTNIK project based on 1C:ERP. The presentation took place within the section for financial directors and chief accountants.

The recently announced results of the “1C: Project of the Year” contest shown that Cinimex is among the winners.

“The 1C: ERP - SPUTNIK in the management system of the Bang & Bonsomer group” won the nomination "The Best Regional Project - Central and Eastern Europe".

The contest aim is to identify the advanced users and partners who have achieved maximum success in digitalization as well as the promotion of “1C: Enterprise 8” system implementation projects.

Within the prizewinner project Cinimex specialists integrated “1C:ERP” to Bang&Bonsomer group corporate systems. All business processes automation project was implemented in a short time and the system launch was without any losses for the business and delays in deliveries.

The international team under the Bang&Bonsomer IT management control (ICT Steering Committee) performed the switching to the new system completely remotely, the employees were located in different cities from Helsinki to Voronezh.

Over 100 projects joined the contest and “The 1C: ERP - SPUTNIK in the management system of the Bang & Bonsomer group” was deservedly selected the winner in its category.

“The project was a challenge for us, not only because of technical difficulties, but also because of the team remote work, especially in English language. Even so we had trusting and even friendly relations with our customers, that inspired us to search and find optimal, beautiful solutions, some of which, as it turned out later, were unique and interesting to “1C” and to other clients”, - commented Galina Kharitontseva, Cinimex key account manager.
