Optimization of Financial Transaction Center (FTC)

Cinimex completed the project for optimization of Financial Transaction Center in VTB Bank.
Project Implementation
The FTC system is built on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and a number of components, which enable routing, transformation and validation of payment paperwork.
At the heart of the system, there is a BPM engine, which executes business logic and describes processes used in transactions.
Adapters for different industry formats, including SWIFT. Module for description of Bank’s STP rules and validation of payment documents. Newly developed applications for visualization of document processing statistics and routing rules.

Transactions in a bank have a rather uneven profile, there are daily spikes in activity associated with completion of stock exchange transactions and bank’s cut-off hours. Normally, customers try to make a payment in the eleventh hour, leading to peaks of system load, which are significantly higher than day average. We had a financial transaction center in the bank, but it was dated, its capacity could no longer meet the demands of our business, and this is why we decided that this system needs upgrading.
