The first panel of the annual Tax Monitoring Forum, which took place in Moscow on December 6th, was dedicated to the new tax surveillance scheme and the results of this year’s enrolment campaign.

Overall, the Forum featured four panels, dedicated to introduction of tax monitoring, automation of tax monitoring, preparation for integration with “Nalog-3” AIS and tax control within the monitoring. The Forum gathered over 500 delegates and speakers – members of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, developers of program solutions for tax monitoring, and representatives of large companies from a wide array of industries.

Large businesses shared their experience of joining the tax monitoring.

Thus, Head of the Department of Tax Methodologies and Control at Rosselkhozbank Alexander Shalukho said: “When selecting a technological product for tax monitoring, we sought maturity and easy implementation – it was critical that should the need arise, we would be able to modify processes. Accounting in the banking industry has a lot of nuances to it. We wanted to make sure that by switching to the new scheme we would reduce the risks of additional charges and penalties. VK Tax Compliance platform has met all our expectations, and that includes a dedicated team for rapid configuration.”

Cinimex’s Project Manager Pavel Ushakov spoke about the specifics of implementing tax monitoring in the banking industry: “In case of Rosselkhozbank, we strived to enable a high-load system responsive to new developments from both taxpayer and tax authority. Disclosure of tax reporting in credit organizations is notable for a huge volume of data to be disclosed (over 3 million accounts and 300 million entries), which requires a special emphasis on system productivity and automated data vetting tools.”
