The Cinimex team secured the second prize in the '2023 Uralsib Hack: Generative Intelligence in Banks' hackathon, which took place from June 14th to 30th. The hackathon was organized by the leading Russian bank - Bank Uralsib, with the goal of finding innovative solutions in the field of generative neural networks and their application in the banking sector.

The participants were tasked with creating a functional prototype based on open sources. During the concept creation stage for the bank, the main focus was on working prototypes of solutions.

The specialists from Cinimex developed a 'Digital Assistant' application for processing the internal database and created a Telegram bot that can provide answers to user queries based on provided regulatory documents and instructions. The bot uses machine learning algorithms and neural networks to select the most relevant information for each specific query. The technologies used by the team in developing the solution include ChatGPT, LLM, LangChain, Vicuna, and other tools.

The developed product helps to speed up and improve the quality of customer service in banks, as well as increase the efficiency of employee work. After the event, the transition from the open solution to on-premise will be carried out in the format of piloting the project in Bank Uralsib.

The winning team members are Pavel Demin, Maxim Vatkin, Eduard Manzhula.

We congratulate the team on this successful performance and continue to develop and use new technologies to improve the quality of the solutions we develop.
