Unified Charges Platform

Unified Charges Platform | Projects of the Sinimex company
Cinimex and Raiffeisenbank implemented a new unified charges platform to address the needs of both corporate and retail business segments. The solution offers extensive charges management services for all of the Bank’s systems.
The platform comprises:
  • UCP (Unified Charges Platform) core;
  • User interface for UCP;
  • Gateways to external systems.
Project Implementation
The UCP comprises a database and a package of independent features – about a 100 of them. The core was developed on iSeries, a unique hardware and software platform from IBM. UCP was deployed on the same server that hosts the Bank’s ABS.
User interface was implemented on IBM WebSphere Application Server. Access control can be configured through group permissions in Active Directory for more flexibility. UCP communicates with external systems through ESB, which is in line with the bank’s architecture.
UCP allows for external systems to call for any UCP feature, which means that UCP can be accessed from any system, for example, a client created in the front-end system can be automatically assigned a pricing plan, or a fee requirement from an external system can be uploaded and executed in UCP automatically, without human involvement.
Besides, Cinimex team designed reference system architecture for the Bank’s ABS MIDAS+, which takes into account all its rules and specifics along with applied interfaces used in the Bank.
