Development of centralized Web-services
As part of SOA roll-out, a single architecture of centralized WEB-services was developed to enable access to the bank’s internal systems via SOAP-queries:
- Equation – Automated Banking System;
- Smart Vista – Back Office – an IT system used for tracking card transactions;
- EBA – complex built on MS SQL Server 2000 and used as a front-end solution for automation of branch tasks.
Projects implemented by Cinimex in collaboration with Alfabank’s team:
- Development of architecture design for centralized Web services consistent with the bank’s needs and SOA approaches;
- Development of Web services compatible with different platforms (Apache Axis, IBM WebSphere, Net, …);
- Development of logging, monitoring and tracing for Web services;
- Implementation of Web services based on IBM WebSphere Application Server;
- Testing: logging, monitoring and tracing for Web services;
- Testing: Web services.
Project results
The delivered system has maximum possible productivity and reliability owing to the use of IBM WebSphere Application Server and internal pool of connections with the bank’s systems.
Besides, the system features a graphic user interface, providing visual information about the use of Web services. User interface was implemented as a Web application with help of J2EE technologies.
