“Overall, artificial intelligence has already become an integral part of both strategic and operational planning in retail. It acts as an additional analytics department, enabling stock forecasting in warehouses and stores, as well as supply chain management.
Without big data analysis, it’s nearly impossible to forecast demand in key areas such as delivery, which is rapidly growing in retail. Additionally, AI is actively used for dynamic pricing and personalized loyalty programs.
Among the emerging technologies gaining popularity, facial recognition payment stands out — it's already accurate enough and is being successfully implemented by major retail chains,” explained Maksim Zharov.
