Cinimex implemented an IDP personal account update project for Volkswagen Group Rus customers
As part of the project aimed at creating a single user authorization point for Volkswagen Group Rus applications and websites, Cinimex carried out performance improvement and solution scaling and added a new functionality to the system.
Many products and applications of Volkswagen Group Rus require customers to undergo authorization. For the convenience of users, a single point was previously created for entry and registration and making changes in personal data for all products, websites and applications of the Group. As part of the system development, Cinimex specialists carried out integration with the Apple ID authentication system, which enables users of Apple products to log in using their Apple account.
Volkswagen Group Rus needed to transfer its single client authorization point to another technological stack. As part of the project, the system interface was transferred to the new React framework.
Cinimex specialists put into operation and set up the Minio object data storage. Also, a Kubernetes cloud platform-based solution was launched for orchestrating containerized applications – automating their deployment, scaling and coordination in a cluster configuration.
“The process-oriented stack used in the project was selected in conjunction with the Volkswagen Group Rus team. It was a technologically challenging project: the current technologies chosen for its implementation very much motivated the development team. For example, the Kubernetes-based platform was built using up-to-date containerization approaches. And React is a JavaScript library for creating user interfaces that allows you to view the interface development through the lens of declarative programming,” comments Denis Ermilov, Deputy Director for Strategic Clients of Cinimex.
